We're looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team and make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional care and support to individuals in their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities :

Administrative Duties :

• Greet patients, keeping medical records up to date (abstracting), answering the telephone and take phone messages, first line person to evaluate patient's request to speak with provider.
• Evaluate potential emergencies and work into the schedule as necessary when the schedule is full. Utilize the "Lead Nurse" when patient cannot be worked in the schedule and / or further medical decision-making is needed.
• Collaborate with the case manager / referral coordinator and operator on completing insurance forms, making appointments, handling correspondence, scheduling hospital and laboratory services.
• Assist the billing department with completing incomplete / missing information in a timely manner.
