Location / Division Specific Information

The Chemical Analysis Division (CAD) provides a diverse mix of analytical instruments and associated services to a broad range of end user markets including Safety & Security, Environmental, Food Safety, Energy, Mining, Life Science Manufacturing and Recycling, to name a few. Its instruments are deployed in the field and on the line, in challenging environments where customers put a premium on adaptability, reliability and ease of use. They allow them to make decisions where they operate and streamline their businesses. CAD is a sophisticated division with a global footprint, broad product portfolio and diverse customer base.

How will you make an impact?

The EPM Business Development Executive provides sales expertise and account management leading all selling and commercial activities within existing markets for the Environmental Protection and Monitoring business unit of the Chemical Analysis Division (CAD). This EPM Business Development Executive maintains effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.

What will you do?

Achieve forecasted sales goals for territory, supporting external partners and selling directly to customers.

Provide support and assistance to customers, OEM's and engineering firms that will improve long-term business results and relationships.

Meet and exceed customer requirements including overall communication, responsiveness, cost awareness and scheduling sensitivities

Maintain and continue to develop an outstanding knowledge of our products and their applications.

Provide forecasts, weekly reports, marketing intelligence and information to supervisor and other company personnel as required. Employ Salesforce.com every day for updating and adding notes, customer information, etc.

Available to travel overnight approximately 40% of time.

Report sales data reliably through CRM and other tools.

How will you get here?

Education

Bachelor of Science in, Engineering or other technical / science degree.

Experience

2+ years of sales experience, familiarity with or science background preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills in English.

Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet

Interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Proven commercial excellence working in a matrix environment.
