Job Summary

Under the supervisor of the Director, the Manager is responsible and held accountable for the establishment and maintenance of protocols from procedures and standards within the laboratory. The Manager plans, coordinates and directs the daily activities of the personnel in the laboratory. He / she provides expert technical assistance and training of laboratory personnel including assigning, reviewing and evaluation technical personnel in the department(s) and ensures the completion, validity and accuracy of all test results where the manager holds a Florida State license.

Requirements

College degree

FL licensure

ASCP certification

Prior lab experience and knowledge, 5 years, including 3-5 years of supervisory experience
