About The Position

We are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide locum coverage for a Level II NICU. The NP will manage admissions, high-risk deliveries, intubations, UVC lines, and patient rounding / discharges. Flexibility in scheduling is preferred.

EMR : EPIC

Responsibilities

Admit and manage NICU patients

Round on high-risk and critical cases

Perform procedural support including intubations and UVC placement

Collaborate closely with neonatologists, NICU staff, and OB teams

Provide 24-hour call coverage

Credentialing & Travel

Credentialing timeframe : ~90 days

Documentation required : NP license, certifications, immunizations, references, CME records

Travel and housing reimbursed according to locum contract (flight, lodging, rental car, mileage)

Job Requirements

Nurse Practitioner licensure in Oregon (active)

Certification in Neonatal Care / NCC preferred

BLS and ACLS certification required

Experience in Level II NICU care, high-risk deliveries, and neonatal procedures
