It is a teaching hospital with 14 beds in the ICU. The patient ratio is 1 : 2, and the environment features both collaboration and accountability to best practices among team members. The unit typically cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues, and some cardiac and trauma cases. The electronic health record system used is Paragon.
