Senior Principal Software Engineer - Java / C++

Salary : $124,000 - 250,000 per year

Requirements :

• A Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or an Advanced Degree with relevant experience
• At least 10 years of experience in software development and integration using programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic
• Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools
• Proficiency with the Windows Operating System, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps Server
• Familiarity with laboratory test instrumentation and software, e.g., NI VISA and NI Measurement Automation Explorer
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities :

Lead multidisciplined teams in the creation of test equipment

Manage multiple tasks effectively in a production setting

Assist in planning cost and scheduling management

Communicate project status updates to senior management

Diagnose and resolve issues with software and test equipment

Develop software product requirements

Exhibit strong written and interpersonal communication skills with Program Management
