A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct patient engagement and assist patients in identifying barriers to recoveryEducate patients on available community resources and facilitate care transitionsMaintain communication with patients and Care Team members, providing support and reporting on patient outcomesRequired QualificationsPeer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in good standingTwo years of experience in peer support and a minimum of two years of recovery from substance use or co-occurring mental health disordersExpected to obtain National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) certification within 9 months of hireStrong preference for individuals with underrepresented pathways in recovery and direct experience of marginalizationHigh degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
