Job Description
Primary Function of Position
- Run and manage smaller IT enhancement projects.
- Working with cross functional business teams to understand business process and design technical solutions for supply chain planning business functions.
- Supply chain planning data analysis and day to day support and answering plan quality validation questions (User interaction to explain CRP,MRP outputs )
- Coordinate with data warehouse / Tableau reporting teams to deliver business reporting needs.
- Develop process diagrams, test cases. Resolve n support issues.
Roles and Responsibilities :
This role is “techno functional”.Conduct design and testing sessions for supply chain planning business functions.Monitor the IT supply chain planning prioritization.Day to day coordination with system integrator and / software vendor to plan for deployment activities.Weekly and monthly reporting on bugs, enhancements and driving to clear the backlogs.Writing of Functional requirement specifications and preparing paper based models of the proposed design.Qualifications
Experience
6-10 years’ experience in supporting Planning systems like : SAP IBP / APO, o9,Kinaxis, Oracle etc.Techno-functional Experience in working with constrained based MRP solvers / algorithms.Skill / Job Requirements
Must have : Supply Chain data analytical skills and understanding of linear programming.Forecasting algorithms understanding, predictive model analysisCapacity constrained production planning data analysisMust have : Experience with constrained based MRP solvers / output analysis with multi node constraints modelingRun simulation data models do What if analysis.Must have : Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to demonstrate data modeling.in a technical field and / degree desiredStrong proficiency in business process analysis in Supply chain planning, Supply operations and inventory controls.Strong development skills in SQL,R, IBPL, Python, advanced Excel, and ability to learn and apply process skills in building and managing applications.Strong organization, time-management and multi-tasking skillsCollaborative teamwork, communication skillsExcellent attention to detail, yet flexible in approachAbility to work independently with limited to no supervisionDemonstrated collaborator across multiple functions, such as operations and planningExcellent written and verbal skills.Strong Supply Chain Planning and operation process skillsKnowledge of Advanced planning systems like : APO,o9,Kinaxis etcAdditional Information
