Role Overview :
As an RN in the Cardiac Prep and Recovery Unit, you will :
Evaluate patients prior to surgery and provide education about the procedure.Prepare patients for surgery, including the administration of intravenous therapy and preoperative medications.Participate in surgical site verification processes to ensure safety protocols are followed.Respond to patient emergencies with quick, effective care.Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care utilizing evidence-based practices.Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Monitor patient conditions diligently and document changes accurately.Qualifications :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license must be obtained within 90 days of employment.Associate Degree in Nursing required.Trident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare hospital system dedicated to serving the Lowcountry community of South Carolina.
