Special instructions when you arrive :

When you get to the building, drive into the associate entry at the north end of the building (the door will raise when approaching), and park your car inside where you will see many other vehicles. It's a little intimidating when you first pull in but just drive straight ahead after coming through the door and then go left at the end to access car parking. Walk to the associate's entry door at the end of the parking area and come into the lobby. If we do not greet you ask for SRM Transport. We look forward to meeting you!

This is a seasonal position with the intent of becoming a full time permanent position. This job is only for responsible, highly reliable people capable of working at a fast pace and independently managing their own performance.

JOB SUMMARY :

We deliver packages for the world's largest online retailer, use a fleet of quality vehicles, and provide branded uniforms. Our Delivery Associates are the face of not only our company, but our customers as well. Therefore, those who take pride in their quality of work, personal appearance, and reputation need apply.

A Delivery Associate is responsible for the daily customer service on a given route, which distributes a high volume of small packages (less than 50 lbs) in a relatively condensed cluster in our area. The successful candidate will have exemplary customer service skills, have superior time management skills, and be obsessed with providing a level of performance that makes them stand out from the rest!

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must have a valid driver's license - NO CDL required

Must be able to pass a 7-year background screening

Must have a clean 3-year driving record

Must be able to pass a 4-panel drug test

Must possess EXCELLENT customer service skills (patient and friendly with a desire to please / serve)

Must be able to use a company-provided smart phone

Willing to move in and out of a van over 150 times a day

Must be RELIABLE (variations in schedules or tardiness are NOT permitted)

Must be 21 years of age
