Position Summary

VisaHub is seeking a licensed Immigration Attorney to support our team on an hourly contract basis. This role is ideal for an attorney seeking flexible, project-based work in a hybrid environment. The attorney will provide strategic oversight and legal review for employment-based immigration petitions. The position requires residency in the San Francisco Bay Area to attend occasional in-office meetings.

You’ll work closely with our internal team of paralegals, case coordinators, and client success managers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and excellent client service across all filings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal review and sign-off for petitions, including O-1, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and other employment-based categories
  • Assess client eligibility and advise on visa strategy and evidentiary requirements
  • Draft or revise key sections of support letters or legal arguments when needed
  • Join select client meetings or calls to clarify legal aspects of the process
  • Monitor relevant changes in immigration law, policy, or adjudication trends
  • Ensure all materials meet USCIS standards and ethical obligations

Minimum Qualifications

  • J.D. / LL.M. and U.S. bar license
  • 1-2 years in employment-based immigration
  • Experience with O-1, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW
  • Strong writing and review skills
  • Based in SF Bay Area
  • Bonus
  • Basic Skills in Spanish
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Hourly contract work at $85 USD / hour
  • Flexible workload based on mutual availability and project needs
  • 80% remote, 20% in-office (San Francisco - Noh Hill)
