Electrical Technician

Summary : This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities : You will install, repair, replace, modify, load, and test new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, panels, switches, breakers, and controls located in and near installation buildings and structures. You will troubleshoot problem areas and inspects for defective equipment and faulty wiring. You will use and maintain various types of hand and / or power tools. You will conduct tests and performs visual inspections on Ordinance Grounding Systems. You will follow safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Education : Additional Information : This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and / or unusual duty hours may be required. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. Several vacancies may be filled.
