Job descriptionDry van – 100% no touch freight 3,000+ miles / week 50% drop & hook / 50% live loads Consistent lanes and contracts Runs east of I-35 (no TX, FL, or NYC) Every restart at home in Chicagoland! 2023–2026 Volvo and Freightliner Cascadia trucks : sleeper, APU, inverter, fridge, automatic transmission, ELD, PrePass, I-Pass Serviced in-house Always green light at the scales Pet & passenger friendly policies Free and secured parking space for your personal vehicle Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Dry Van OTR $1,900 - $2,300 gross total weekly avg. pay $0.65 - $0.65 CPM 3,000 - 3,300 avg. miles per week Line Haul, LTL No Driver Load / Unload No slip seating 5 - 6 expected days out You can stay out longer if you want to Get 1 day of home time for every 6 days worked Home every weekend Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure. Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports. Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations. Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations. Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area. Orientation is not paid for Does not cover accommodation Drivers get their own room No meals are included Does not cover any travel expenses Class A license without any of the following restrictions : (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only 2 years Tractor Trailer experience
