Land Survey Repair Technician (Cary)

Role Description

Full-time, on-site bench role in Cary, NC. The Repair Technician diagnoses, repairs, and calibrates survey instruments and lasers (e.g., total stations, GNSS, rotary lasers). Youll document work clearly, maintain an organized ESD-safe bench, and collaborate with service / parts for efficient turnaround. Training on specific brands / tools will be provided.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in electronics / bench repair or calibration (or strong adjacent experience)
• Comfort with precision tooling, optics / electronics basics, and documentation
• Quality mindset (first-pass fix %, turnaround time, clean notes)
• Helpful communicator; customer-service mindset
• Surveying / construction equipment experience is a requirement
