Job description5 years of experience with small-engine or construction equipment repair. Strong troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work extended hours (Mon-Fri 7 am-5 pm; Sat 8 am-noon). Safety-focused detail-oriented and able to work independently. Dealership or rental environment experience. CDL or the ability to obtain one. Knowledge of brands like Honda Wacker and Multiquip. Join a trusted family-owned Iowa equipment company serving since 1968! We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to repair and maintain small-engine and construction equipment including generators concrete saws pumps power buggies plate compactors mixers and light towers.
What Youll Do :
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Perform maintenance efficiently and safely.
- Reference service manuals parts catalogs and diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate service records logs and timesheets.
- Mentor junior technicians as needed.
- Use and maintain your own hand tools.
