Med / Surg RN Job Details

Job Title : Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment

Location : Du Bois, Pennsylvania 15801

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing, On-Site

Unit : GMS3 – Medical Surgical

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,570 – $1,610

Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)

Total Hours per Week : 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state (required)

At least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical (Med / Surg) nursing experience

Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Ability to complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and Childline registration promptly

Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing

First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients on the Medical Surgical unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress in the electronic health record (EHR)

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by healthcare providers

Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance

Promote a positive, professional, and supportive clinical environment
