Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network equipment.
Plan, design, and support high-performance transport and access networks
Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvement
Administer and support Linux and Windows back-office systems.
Participate in an on-call engineering rotation to maintain network reliability
Collaborate with provisioning and technical support teams to enable seamless service delivery
Document network changes, standards, and implementation plans
Work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment while promoting knowledge-sharing

Qualifications

Strong, hands-on experience with Cisco and / or Calix networking platforms

Practical understanding of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF), PON, and fiber-network configurations

Familiarity with Unix / Linux systems and basic scripting methods

Knowledge of outside plant and deployment consideration.

Strong project coordination, documentation, and communication skills
