The Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization (PVPC) is the “brain” of the Propulsion Systems division aimed at translating Performance and Functional Objectives into Controls features implemented in the embedded SW.
The PVPC organization scope spans the V development cycle with the following core missions :
Within PVPC Organization the Controls Management Team acts as the main interface to the individual program ensuring that its needs are met.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Controls Manager in the technical management, global planning & execution and programs coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Engines or Transmissions or Hybrid or Battery or Charging or eMotor Electronic Control Units

Always remember that Done! Is at a vehicle functional level, not when one group considers their scope of responsibility as completed.
o Onsite - %-This is only considered as an on-site role. % at CTC. Infrequent travel to proving grounds and assembly plants is expected. <% of time.
Does this position require driving a Client vehicle? (Examples : Testing / Driving on a Track / Moving vehicle throughout the facility / Moving vehicle to another plant location) - Yes, engineer will be required to drive and participate in in-vehicle testing and development activities. Both on-track and on-road.
Amount of travel, (if so, where) : <%. Travel in SE Michigan to support proving grounds, and local assembly plants when necessary.
