Position Overview

KSL TV 5 is seeking a dynamic, engaging reporter to work on a part-time basis. This journalist will enterprise news stories for live-broadcast and our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will produce engaging and demonstrative live shots, conduct in-depth interviews and craft creative copy for broadcast, digital platforms and social media.

Note : Work configurations are subject to change based on business needs and at company discretion.

This position is an onsite role that requires the employee to regularly work at our Salt Lake City site.

What You Will Do

• Enterprise, gather and write accurate news content for on-air broadcasting and digital presentation
• Tell memorable stories in an engaging and authentic manner
• Develop diverse news sources for general assignment and special areas of interest
• Write and post daily on all digital platforms including social media
• Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively to create compelling content
• Act professionally and courteously and dress appropriately for the event(s) assigned to cover
• Perform other duties as assigned
