About The Position

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment using approved procedures and sterilization methods.
• Assemble and organize instrument trays and sets accurately for various surgical specialties, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as washers, ultrasonic cleaners, steam sterilizers, and scope reprocessors.
• Monitor sterilization cycles and record results using biological and chemical indicators to ensure compliance with hospital standards.
• Manage the distribution of sterile and non-sterile supplies to operating rooms and other hospital units, maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Follow aseptic techniques and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure patient and staff safety.
