Locums Neurological Surgery Call Only Hickory, NC Why This Role Call-only coverage starting September 1, 2025, ongoing LifePoint Health facility with 355 beds Assignment Details Coverage Type : Call only Call : Both inpatient and ER, 1 : 3 ratio, 20-minute response time Average 8 phone consults / day, 3 patients seen / day, 1â€"2 admissions / day EMR : Athena and Cerner Trauma Level : N / A Location : Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory, NC Lodging : Courtyard by Marriott Hickory Clinical Details Primarily adult neurosurgery Mix of cranial, spine, and emergency consults Support staff : 3 RNs No APP supervision required Requirements Board Certified in Neurological Surgery Active NC license ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS Clear history Skills Needed General Neurosurgery - Adult Preferred : cerebrovascular (open and endovascular), carotid / vertebral artery surgery, aneurysm clipping, tumor surgery (including neuroendocrine), stereotactic radiosurgery (functional and seizure), VP shunt, skull base surgery Preferred : spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Preferred : peripheral nerve surgery, pain procedures, endovascular procedures, ICP monitor placement, external traction, ventilator management, central line placement Compensation Info Rates : Facility is accepting bids Malpractice : Provided and paid for by Archway Locums Travel Expenses : Reimbursed
