Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Radiology - Interventional in North Dakota

About The Position

⏰ Schedule

Weekdays : 8 AM – 4 PM + Evening Call (4 PM – 8 AM) 🌙

Weekends : 24-hour call rotation 🕒

🏥 Practice Setting

Hospital-based, supportive team

Epic EMR system

Procedural Volume : 10–15 cases per 8-hour day 📊

⚡ Procedures & Case Mix

Must be comfortable with :

Vascular interventions : Angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, embolization

Vascular access : PICC, central lines, ports, IVC filters

IR procedures : TIPS, drainages, aspirations, biopsies (all sites incl. bone)

Pain management : Epidural / joint injections, vertebroplasty, blood patch

Other procedures : Paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube, arthrograms, myelography

Specialty IR : Uterine artery embolization, Y90 / TACE, cryoablation, nephrostomy, stent placements, gastrostomy tubes, fistulograms

✨ Preferred (not required) : Neuro stroke thrombectomy 🧠

✅ Requirements

Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist 🎓

Residency + Fellowship Completed 🩺

ND License Preferred (IMLC Accepted) 🏷️

ACLS & BLS Certifications ✅

Clean malpractice & background preferred ⚖️

Proficient in general IR procedures listed above 💼
