Key Responsibilities :
Conduct legal research to support case strategy and filingsPrepare weekly court lists and review files prior to attorney appearancesComplete pre-trial discovery including summarizing medical records transcripts wage histories personnel files carrier files and moreCommunicate with insurance carriers opposing counsel and medical providers to gather required documentationManage HIPAA authorizations and coordinate retrieval of medical recordsDraft format and file pleadings motions and appellate documentsMaintain and organize pleadings discovery materials exhibits evidence briefs and appendicesTrack and monitor all court deadlines and filing requirementsDocument and code billable time in the firm s timekeeping systemProvide general administrative support such as scheduling appointments and managing attorney calendarsPerform additional case support duties as requiredQualifications :
Paralegal Certification bachelor s degree or equivalent relevant experienceStrong command of office procedures and proficiency with computer softwareExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to draft edit and prepare professional legal documentsStrong interpersonal skills for working with attorneys clients and outside partiesAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationExpertise in Outlook Word Excel Lexis and Adobe ProHighly organized detail-focused and able to work independentlyExperience with NetDocs or Time Matters is a plusBenefits :
