SERVER ASSISTANT

Description

We are searching for a diligent food runner and busser to assist and support the serving staff at our restaurant. As a server's assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning, clearing, and setting tables, ensuring that the restaurant supplies and equipment are clean and maintained, and assisting customers with requests or complaints. To ensure success as a server's assistant, you should be highly organized and have a keen eye for detail. A skilled server assistant should be good with their hands, highly efficient, and be able to provide a great level of customer service. A server's assistant's ultimate goal is to set servers up for success, this role allows servers to spend more time at their tables engaging with the guests.

Requirements

• Prebussing tables
• Can carry multiple dishes without spills or accidents
• Interact with guests
• Ensuring menus and cutlery are cleaned and replenished between tables
• Moving tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate guests as needed
• Tidying the restaurant after service and ensuring that it is prepped for the following service
• Positive attitude

The Sail Loft is a neighborhood family restaurant with items on our menu for everyone. In the past two years of being under Servedwell Hospitality's ownership, the restaurant has doubled sales since opening the doors, we have over 130 seats and plans underway to expand due to the tremendous success. Although we are right on the water, we are a year-round establishment that provides promotional events in all seasons.
