This is a busy emergency department with high acuity, steady patient volume, and multiple shift options to fit your scheduling needs. Assignment Highlights Start Date : January 1, 2026 Contract Type : Locum Tenens - 6 months ongoing need Coverage Need : 18-20 shifts per month (2 FTE equivalent) Schedule : Days, Swings, and Nights available Shift Times : 6a-4p, 8a-8p, 10a-10p, 12p-12a, 3p-2a, 8p-6a Privileges : Temp privileges possible with clean file Program Details Annual ED Volume : ~36,000 Patients per Hour : ~2 ED Beds : 16 Admitting Orders : Required for some patients APP Coverage : None - Physician Only Coverage Model Trauma Designation : University-affiliated trauma center support EMR : Epic Candidate Requirements Board Certified / Eligible in Emergency Medicine Active Missouri state license & Unrestricted DEA Clean file for expedited privileging Why This Opportunity?
