Job descriptionWork as part of the Resource Float Pool floating between two campuses (Level I Trauma 625 beds and Level IV Trauma 245 beds) Float throughout Adult Health units including Observation (2 units), Med Surg (4 units), PCU and IMC (total 11 units) May occasionally float to ED or PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders Varied work schedule Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required Current valid RN license in state of practice required BLS certification required Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required with experience in acute care setting within past 12 months Bachelor's degree preferred Professional certification preferred Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies Formulate care plans utilizing assessment data and patient / family input Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members Participate in education and orientation of facility personnel Referral bonus
