About the Role

The Company is a leading global financial services provider with a strong focus on innovation and technology. They are seeking a Senior Vice President, Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key adviser to the business, managing and negotiating a variety of contracts, and providing general legal support. This role requires a professional with 3-7 years of experience, preferably with a focus on contracts and investment advisory and / or broker-dealer issues. The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate legal within the financial services industry or experience in a related practice area with an outside law firm. Experience with a Broker-Dealer, Registered Investment Adviser, or regulatory agency is also preferred. The role involves advising on new product development, regulatory risk management, and keeping abreast of relevant legislation and rulemaking. The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to influence business decisions, and a strong work ethic to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. An ideal candidate for this position would have in-house counsel experience and be adept at collaborating with business leaders to develop legal and regulatory best practices.
