The posted compensation range of $24.03 - $26.91 / hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Our Medical Assistant under the direction of Physician prepares patients for examination and assists with examinations and minor office surgeries. Required : High School diploma or GED Certification of a Medical Assistant program, Current California State Phlebotomy Certification, Current BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification required, Current EMT Certification required, Demonstrates skills in taking vital signs and height and weight measurements, Knowledge of sterile technique and handling of infectious waste Ability to work as a team and communicate well and interact appropriately with others, Able to work in spite of frequent interruptions, High level of concentration and attention to detail.

Preferred : One-year experience in physician / clinic setting or equivalent combination of experience, certification, training. Additional EMT or equivalent experience.
