For many years, their commitment to quality and innovation has been key to their growth. They are looking to add a Plant Manager in Phoenix area, AZ. You will provide overall leadership in the plant, guiding the team and instilling best practices to meet goals of people & food safety, quality and cost management.
- Relevant Bachelors degree and 5+ years of plant manager experience (food production / processing). Bilingual (Spanish). Excellent knowledge of relevant food safety and quality regulations. Solid audit experience. P&L expertise.
Compensation / Benefits :

Manage operations for the facility and provide leadership to improve productivity and develop talent.Provide strategic direction – capital expenditures, business planning, budget management, performance management, succession planning, and culture.Responsible for the operations department, including maintenance. Deliver on all KPI’s.In partnership with Human Resources, oversee hiring, discipline, terminations, performance management, and talent development.Develop systems to evaluate and implement manufacturing and business system process improvements incorporating Lean tools.Help develop equipment preventative maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.Manage operational budgets and actively participate in developing the company’s short- and long-term projected growth.Lead the annual budgeting process for labor and overhead spending.Review and support improvements such as cost reduction, safety, meeting customer requirements, and supporting market growth.Oversee ongoing efforts to optimize cost, working capital, inventory accuracy and customer service. Lead long-term resource planning.Work closely with the corporate team to develop and manage capital improvement projects.Lead development and successful implementation of complex projects.Oversee the company’s Health and Safety Program.Drive high performance by improving trust, collaboration, and accountability.Competencies Needed for Success :
Education and / or Experience – University degree or college diploma in engineering or manufacturing.7+ years of food production operations leadership experience. At least 5 years at Plant Manager level.Strong P&L experience.Bilingual (Spanish).Strong food safety & quality experience.
