Travel Nurse RN - Med / Surg / Telemetry - $2,402 per week in Windsor, VT

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience, Charge RN experience required, Previous travel experience (at least 3 months) required License : Vermont RN License Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Must have own vehicle Description : Please do not upload a traveler who would like to work in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment. Please do not upload a traveler who is going to request schedule accommodations. Traveler may be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse. Traveler will coordinate total nursing care for patients. Traveler is expected to participate in patient and family teaching. Traveler will provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Traveler will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Electronic Medical Record system is Cerner. Nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4 / 5. Average daily patient census is 22. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. For holiday coverage, travelers are required to work one of the following : Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the weekend after, or New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day and the weekend after. Extensions requested to end in November or before holidays in December will not be considered for an extension at the beginning of the following year. Local travelers who reside within 50 miles are not eligible for this position. This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle, which is a firm requirement. Permanent address must be included in traveler profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer. Each call off must be communicated to the unit supervisor at least 1.5 hours in advance. After 3 call offs, a traveler's contract may be terminated due to lack of attendance. Every other weekend and holidays required if needed.
