Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The OT will assess patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities and design personalized treatment plans to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ abilities, needs, and goals through assessments and observations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to improve patients’ functional abilities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to coordinate care.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, equipment use, and strategies for daily living.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and ethical standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent state license to practice as an Occupational TherapistStrong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and interventionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamPreferred Qualifications
Experience working with pediatric, geriatric, or neurological populationsCertification in specialized therapeutic techniques or adaptive equipmentFamiliarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsCertifications
Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) credential (required)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)Education : Masters Degree
