CrowdStrike stores many petabytes of data in the cloud that it uses to make decisions about how to best secure our partners' environments. About the Role : We are growing and we are looking for a Sr. Software Engineering Manager to lead our Global Query Engine cloud team in Europe. You would be supporting highly skilled software engineers specializing in building a set of components that will enable partners to access and join data from multiple underlying stores. The technology is built in-house and powered by SQL and NoSQL databases, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Go. You need to have hands-on experience in building cloud solutions and a proven track record of successfully leading people and projects. We are a remote-first company so you must bring your excellent verbal and written communication skills to bear when you are working with your engineering teams and cross-functional teams across the globe.

What You'll Do :

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers, guiding them through successful and timely completion of technical product development projects.
• Play a critical role in attracting, retaining, and fostering the professional growth of our software engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with peers across different organizations.
• Contribute to building globally distributed, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable cloud-based systems capable of processing trillions of events daily.
