Ontario, CA | $22.50-$25.00 / hr. | Full-time, Monday-Friday
A construction company in Ontario, CA is currently seeking a General Office Assistant to support their Estimating Department and leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is eager to grow within the construction industry.
Responsibilities Include :
- Providing administrative support to the Estimating Department
- Assisting with bid and proposal documentation
- Learning to review and interpret contract bid instructions and requirements
- Compiling and formatting internal documentation for contract compliance
- Submitting Certified Payroll data through LCP Tracker
- Coordinating insurance requirements for projects
- Supporting vendor and subcontractor sourcing during bid phases
- Managing calendars and coordinating meetings and calls
- Performing additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of recent administrative experience in the construction industry or a related field is requiredProficient in Microsoft Excel; strong overall MS Office skillsPrevious experience with LCP Tracker preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyWillingness to learn how to read site plans and assist with estimatingOrganized, task-oriented, and able to manage multiple prioritiesSelf-motivated with a professional and collaborative approachDemonstrates confidentiality, sound judgment, and reliabilityArrow
