Emergency Department RN | Guam Regional Medical City – Dededo, GU

Location : 133 Route 3, Dededo, GU 96929

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift :

Night Shift : 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Day Shift : 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00)

Travelers are scheduled for one shift (day or night) but must comply if asked to switch.

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend

Block Schedule : TBD by unit needs

Job Overview

Guam Regional Medical City is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs to join its Level II Trauma team. Candidates must have at least 5 years of emergency nursing experience and be prepared to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care for critically ill and injured patients

Rapidly assess and triage patients based on acuity

Administer medications, IV fluids, and advanced life support interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients

Utilize Allscripts / Sunrise for electronic documentation

Maintain knowledge of emergency protocols, including conscious sedation and ESI training

Requirements

Experience : Minimum 5 years of ER nursing experience

Certifications Required :

Compact or Guam RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)

ACLS

BLS

PALS

NIH Stroke Certification

Conscious Sedation Certification ($250 cost to be included in the pay package)

ESI Training ($50 each for two sessions, to be included in the pay package)

First-time Travelers : Not accepted

Floating : Required within scope based on facility needs

On-Call Requirement : Not required

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate : $60.00$65.00 / hour

Overtime : 1.5x after 40 hours / week

Charge Nurse Pay : Additional $5.00 / hour

On-Call Pay : $10.00 / hour

Call Back Pay : 1.5x

Holiday Pay : 1.5x (Observed holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day)

Additional Details

Local Candidates : Not accepted

RTO Policy :

Maximum of 3 consecutive days off

Maximum of 7 total days off per contract

All RTO must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission

Vaccination Requirements :

COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (Medical Exemptions Only)

Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical Exemptions Only)

Additional Requirements :

PASSPORT IN HAND REQUIRED

Flights are not reimbursed (Recruiters should include round-trip airfare in the pay package)

Travelers must complete their full contract before booking return flights
