🌀 Now Hiring : Winder - $23.70 / Hour - Full-Time - Canonsburg, PA

Express Employment Professionals is looking for dependable and detail-oriented Winders for a well-established company in Canonsburg, PA. This is an Evaluation-to-Hire, full-time opportunity with a competitive starting pay and the potential for a pay increase, benefit package, and a union position once hired permanently by the client!

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Setup, wind, and dismantle of coil setups, including managing mandrels and wire.
  • Make brazed connections, fabricate crossovers, and install cooling ducts.
  • Burn leads using an induction heater or oxygen / acetylene torch .
  • Perform removal, up-ending, and proper storage of completed coils.
  • Conduct hands-on mechanic work using various tools and equipment.
  • Record necessary data on cylinder, wire, and coil check sheets.
  • Adhere strictly to the company's attendance policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

✅ Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Skilled in operating hand tools, air tools, and power tools .
  • Ability to perform minor maintenance to equipment as needed.
  • Must have good manual dexterity, be attentive to detail , and able to follow directions.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs frequently without assistance.
  • Must have specific vision abilities required by the job.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory math skill evaluation.

    • 📅 Schedule and Compensation

  • Schedule : Monday through Friday Swing Shifts .

    • Shift Options : 5 : 00 AM-3 : 30 PM (Day Shift) OR 3 : 00 PM-2 : 00 AM (Afternoon / Evening Shift).

  • Pay Rate : $23.70 / hour (Starting wage, with an opportunity for pay increase upon hire by client).
  • Eligible for a benefit package and potential union position upon full-time hire.
  • Location : Canonsburg, PA (Note : Candidates must have reliable transportation).
