Scrub experience in endoscopy procedures required
EPIC charting experience required
Description :
Position is for an Endoscopy Registered Nurse.
The nurse will have a variety of shift options, including 5x8 hour days or 4x10 hour days.
The required hour for each shift is either 8 or 10.
The nurse must be experienced in scrub techniques as this role requires scrub experience.
Charting must be performed using the EPIC system.
Weekend on-call responsibilities will be part of the job, with a call rotation that includes four weeknights within a six-week schedule, along with one weekend on-call requirement.
The nurse must be able to work at least one holiday during the contract period.
Experience should include airway management, recovery from conscious sedation, and monitoring and assessments of various conditions.
Clinical skills such as starting and maintaining IVs and specimen handling are essential.
The nurse will attend to a diverse patient population including adolescents, neonates, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Additional responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and ensuring a high standard of care is maintained throughout their stay.
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in both assisting with endoscopic procedures and providing high-quality nursing care.
