Compensation : $68,640 - $84,200 annually
Job Summary :
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of a full-service branch, ensuring efficiency in operations, lending, product sales, member services, and branch security. This role focuses on driving growth by retaining and expanding account and loan business, while actively promoting the full range of Credit Union products and services.
The Branch Manager fosters a strong sales-through-service culture by providing exceptional member experiences, coaching and motivating staff, and delivering consistent training and supervision. Day-to-day responsibilities are delegated appropriately to Member Service Representatives (MSRs) to ensure operational excellence. The Branch Manager also represents the Credit Union in community events to enhance visibility, strengthen relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Foster strong relationships with members and the local community to support membership growth and promote our "Sales Through Service" culture.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-quality talent to ensure effective and efficient branch operations.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver consistent, exceptional member service aligned with Credit Union standards.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the Credit Union’s core values and mission.
- Provide timely, constructive performance feedback and support employee development in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Oversee daily branch operations, including cash management, branch balancing, inventory of supplies, loan processing, member services, and overall branch appearance (interior and exterior).Build and maintain strong relationships with members and the community to support membership growth and promote the Credit Union’s “Sales Through Service” culture.Monitor sales and service metrics such as foot traffic, loan queues, and conversion rates; identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and member satisfaction.Collaborate with leadership and staff to set and achieve branch goals aligned with the Credit Union’s strategic objectives.Supervise daily workflows and assign tasks to ensure efficient branch operations. Provide guidance and support on complex transactions, sensitive member issues, and policy interpretation.Evaluate branch staffing needs and make recommendations to ensure adequate coverage and service levels. Review and underwrite in-branch loan applications.Conduct regular audits of loan and teller activities, general ledger accounts, and compliance practices. Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.Complete and document staff performance evaluations, administer disciplinary actions when appropriate, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Perform Financial Services Representative (FSR) and Member Services Representative (MSR) duties on a limited, as-needed basis.Engage with members, local businesses, and community and civic organizations to increase visibility and generate new business opportunities.Maintain and enforce safety procedures and ensure a secure environment for members and staff.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and internal policies, including BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, MDD, HIPAA, ADA, and others.Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations and organizational goals.Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent required.Associate's degree in finance or equivalent, or two to three years of experience and / or training preferred.Minimum five years' banking or credit union experience required.Prior leadership experience required.Physical Requirements :
