WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of Epic Flight Support, the A&P Mechanic will maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, avionics, engine, and propeller systems to ensure aircraft conformance with FAA regulations and our Part 145 Repair Station manual. You will also troubleshoot to determine malfunctioning parts and recommend part changes or adjustments to aircraft specifications to improve performance. You will document and maintain paperwork for maintenance according to regulations. As part of the experimental aviation world, the ideal candidate will understand the safety of flight issues and correct items that are not directives from a maintenance manual or safety bulletin.Other expectations may include :
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair / replace aircraft systems
- Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies
- Recommend part changes or adjustments to aircraft specifications
- Document and maintain paperwork
- Other duties as assigned or required
- Overtime and occasional travel may be requested
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or AMTWill consider students who've done majority of courseworkand stillneed to complete FAA TestingNew graduates & experienced A&P mechanics encouraged to applyExperience with Pratt and Whitney PT6A engines preferred but not requiredAvionics experience is highly desirable training providedAble to work independentlyGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a teamProfessional appearance and excellent customer service skillsAble to follow written and verbal instructions and fill out paperwork as neededOccasionally lift up to 50 lbs. with assistancePhysically able to bend, twist, and fit in tight or uncomfortable placesMust be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the futureEmployment with Epic Flight Support is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test as well as subsequent random drug and alcohol testingWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
