Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Power BI Developer

Location : 100% on-site downtown Washington DC

Department : Veterans Affairs (VA)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and design sessions of Power BI reporting solutions ensuring they are scalable performant secure and meet stakeholder reporting requirements.

Architect design and develop scalable interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI that are intuitive and meet established UI / UX objectives.

Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning retrospectives and daily stand-ups ensuring timely delivery of Power BI development tasks.

Professional Certifications

Years of Professional Experience

8 years of Power BI experience

Desired experience

Previous experience supporting a U.S. Federal Government agency.

Formal Education

Masters degree in computer science or other technical disciplines (an additional 10 years of experience after bachelors can substitute for a Masters degree).

Citizenship Requirement

U.S. Citizenship required for this specific opportunity

Security Clearance Requirements

Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI)
