Job descriptionCurrent LPN license from the state of employment or LPN applicant status required; license required if applicable, Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, Must complete a pass / fail EKG test on the first day with up to two attempts allowed, 1 year of clinical patient care experience in acute care, LTAC, or long-term care preferred, Experience with Epic EMR preferred, Completion of Basic Arrhythmia class with passing exam required for Telemetry / Remote Telemetry units, Position primarily supports the respiratory department but will also involve administering medications and providing skilled nursing care as directed, Duties include assisting with patient assessments, medication administration, wound dressing changes, asthma treatments, and phlebotomy services, Documentation and communication of patient care and response are expected, Adhere to infection control and safety procedures, Study guides for EKG will be provided before testing, Position is open to local candidates; local rate applies, Radius rule : candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment,
American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a contract covering respiratory treatments across multiple acute care units, requiring current licensure and BLS certification.
Job Details
- Work across multiple units including ICU, PCU, Med / Surg, Tele, Observation, and ER,
- Primary responsibility is administering respiratory treatments such as albuterol, nebulizer, and handheld treatments,
- Position supports the respiratory department and involves floating to different units as needed,
- Night shift schedule : Monday through Thursday, 1830-0500,
- 13-week contract assignment,
- Navy blue scrubs required,
