Position Summary :
Responsible for the management and performance of the regional sales team by achieving or exceeding the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goal.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Build a winning, fun culture between Outside Sales and Inside Sales teams.
- Assist development, cultivation, and penetration of new customers in the defined selling territory with the outside sales team with a mix of hunters and farmers.
- Drive adoption and be an advocate of the 1Bishop sales process and HubSpot adoption.
- Develop and execute the region’s annual sales budget. Generate new strategic sales objectives for the region.
- Direct responsibility for the hiring, training, management, development, and performance of outside sales.
- Efficient utilization and adherence to the company’s sales systems and prospect development processes
- Support and build top prospect and customer relationships in the region by correctly identifying their site challenges, the reasons they are occurring, and product or service solutions for solving their challenges.
- Meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly activity and sales goals for the region by managing the activity and performance goals of the sales team.
- Ensure efficient and effective communication from the team to customers and branch operations regarding quote requests, delivery of products, and services to the customer. This includes written and verbal communication.
- Build an effective professional network by participating in organizations and events that foster opportunities and build referral sources and future sales.
- Endeavor to grow personally and professionally by participating in industry sales, leadership and related seminars, workshops, and organizations. Participate in all company required trainings.
- Aggregate and Prepare information to deliver regional sales pipeline reports for discussion and analysis with the Regional Sales Director.
- Implement and Review quarterly customer surveys with Outside Sales.
- Be knowledgeable about, abide by, and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Responsibility and oversight for all sales within your region.
Job Requirements :
At least ten years of successful sales experiencePreference for experience managing a sales team and leadership experience.Must understand and utilize consultative sellingExperience working with, utilizing, and maintaining an active CRM (HubSpot)Experience with technical and industrial salesEffective problem solving skills and experience with prospects and customersPerformance and results drivenA well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional imageAn intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization across diverse cultures and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of productsMust be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and a valid driver license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report.Accountabilities for Managing Regional Sales Efforts :
Quarterly review of Top 20 regional customers to maintain customer concentration percentage to sales goal.Meet weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and reporting objectives.Assist outside sales and ensure each territory is meeting sales goals.Ensure required quarterly customer service reviews for the region are completed.Review and evaluate outside sales team members quarterly.Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual new customers and current customer sales quotas.Must generate and cultivate a Top 20 regional prospect list that includes A and B Level AccountsResponsible for ensuring that the outside team’s sales activities are entered into the CRM database daily and meet participation requirementsBishop Lifting Products, Inc. and it’s subsidiaries are an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
