Radiologist Job Details

Position Type : Locum tenens radiologist (contract / travel)

Location : On-site in Upper Chichester, PA (19013) – Greater Philadelphia area

Start Date : November 2025

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour day shifts

Hours per Week : 36

Healthcare Setting : Hospital-based diagnostic imaging

Imaging Modalities : X-ray (XR), CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine

Subspecialty Case Mix : Emergency radiology, neuroradiology, pediatric imaging, mammography, diagnostic procedures

Estimated Weekly Salary : $5780-$6850

Radiologist Qualifications

Board Certification in Radiology (required)

Active Pennsylvania medical license (required)

DEA Registration (required)

Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology

Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies

Radiologist Responsibilities

Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine

Perform light interventional radiology procedures : biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, bone, renal), CT / US-guided procedures, and drainages (paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess, chest tube, cysts)

Conduct diagnostic lumbar punctures, myelograms, epidurals, and arthrograms (knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder)

Manage a daily volume of 90-100 imaging studies per 8-hour shift

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
