Packer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Packer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly packaged and prepared for shipment. This position requires standing or sitting at a workstation, packing bags, and stacking boxes. You will also be responsible for lifting boxes weighing up to 35 pounds. Candidates have the opportunity to make $20+ when hired in as long as they advance to Operator levels 2, 3, setup, etc.

Responsibilities :

• Stand or sit at a workstation to pack bags coming off the machines.
• Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure quality standards.
• Pack plastic bags into boxes and securely tape the boxes shut.
• Stack boxes on skids and pallets, lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Ensure accuracy by weighing stack of bags and operating a shrink wrapper.
• Work collaboratively with other operators on different machines.

Essential Skills :

Work Environment :

The work environment is clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit, ideal for a medical packaging manufacturer. Shifts are available with flexible start times, and the dress code includes hair nets and long pants, without the requirement for steel-toed shoes. Employees are provided with t-shirts and uniforms, and only water is allowed at workstations. You will work alongside a team of operators, with no headphones allowed in the production area.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
