Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to under general direction of the Regional Field Supervisor independently or as a member of a professional team travel to conduct surveys investigations and monitoring visits of long-term care facilities and hospitals to determine compliance with State Licensure requirements and / or Federal Medicare / Medicaid certification regulations. Coordinates nutrition programs consults and performs dietary surveys. Serves as preceptor for lower-level surveyors and as the subject matter expert on issues of dietetics.
