Description
The Concessions Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, receiving and processing payments, and serving food and beverage items in a timely manner. In addition, the Concessions Attendant is responsible for engaging with guests behind the customer service counter, as well as beyond the service counter. They will also assist the kitchen team members, as needed, to ensure quick and efficient ticket times. This part-time position reports to the Food & Beverage Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Requirements
Education and / or Experience : No previous education or experience required. Prior experience with food and beverage sales is preferred.
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills : Use of a windows-based workstation and, upon hire and training, associated property-specific Point of Sale software (i.e. - Toast) is required.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold (non-weather); extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
