Responsibilities:
The Department of Languages at The New School seeks a language tutor in the following language: Japanese (Spring and Summer 2026 Availability).Language Tutors will offer at least five hours of availability per week (on at least three days) in order to tutor our students at the Languages Tutoring Lab/Online. Language tutors support our students in their development of language proficiency by offering grammar explanations, reviewing drafts of written work, and supporting oral and listening skills development. Tutors are also required to attend Tutor Meetings, Training Sessions, and to be in correspondence with the Tutoring Coordinator and the Assistant Director of Administration.
