• This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S.
• Government customer.
• The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Responsibilities :

• As a Frontend UI / UX engineer, you will be responsible for the transition of a legacy python application into a modern web app.
• You will work closely with customers and PMs to understand / design / and create new user interfaces using NextJS.
• Experience with TailwindCSS, ReactJS are heavily used in the frontend code base.
• Typescript is an important foundation when building this application.
• You will ensure that code is well written for code intellisense and maintainability.
• You will be also responsible for code reviews to stay informed of the changes from the frontend and backend code.
• A general understanding of docker is needed to make sure deployments into different systems can be performed.

Key Requirements :

• To be considered for this position you must have the following : U.S.
• Citizenship. 14 to 20+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s in computer science (or related field) or 18 years without the degree.

Works well independently as well as on a team.  Strong communication skills.  Key Skills :

• NextJS, TypeScript, Cypress Testing, Docker, Tailwind CSS, NodeJS, Python (not needed but its a helpful skill when assisting backend devs with code reviews) Location :  Columbia, MD Telework : Up to 2 days per week Salary Range :  The salary range for this full-time position is $170,000.00 to $240,000.00.
