Labor & Delivery RN Job Details Location : Tallahassee, FL 32308 (Florida travel nursing jobs) Setting : Labor & Delivery / Antenatal (High Risk Unit) Unit Details : 19 labor rooms, 12 antepartum rooms, 4 recovery rooms, 8 triage rooms, 3 OR suites; approx. 4,000 deliveries annually Facility : Comprehensive Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, Level 2 Trauma Center Assignment Length : 13 weeks (12 / 1 / 2025 – 2 / 28 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week : 36 Extra Shifts : One extra shift per 4-week schedule cycle required Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250 Travel Nursing Assignment Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Labor & Delivery RN Proficient in ECG interpretation and immediate newborn care Experience in LDRP or Mother Baby units preferred Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state) Required certifications : AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS, NRP, AWHONN-Advanced Fetal Monitoring (or equivalent) Ability to circulate and recover C-sections Strong communication and teamwork skills Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk, high-volume setting Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring and ECG interpretation Circulate and recover C-sections as needed Provide immediate newborn care and support family-centered care practices Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Fulfill one additional shift per 4-week schedule cycle as required Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career with this rewarding Labor & Delivery RN job in Tallahassee, Florida!
