Position : HVAC Technician
Position Summary :
Repair, adjust, maintain and replace components of the entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems as needed. Collaborate with outside utilities and Honeywell on heating, A / C and ventilation.
$30-$45 / hourly

Position Responsibilities :
Respond to emergency callsWork from telephone maintenance requests and verbal and written work ordersPerform visual inspections for the detection of abnormal operation and correction of deficienciesRepair or replace defective heating, ventilation and A / C equipment including but not limited to :Natural GasMedical gases, e.g., oxygen, air and vacuumHeating systems including traps, valves, controls, piping and various types of heating equipmentA / C systemsOutside utilities (on premises) sewer and storm drains, gas, waterVarious pumpsHot and cold water tanks and systemsDrain cleaningPiping for machineryMaintain an ongoing preventive maintenance program throughout the facility complexKeep a clean, safe work areaMaintain an inventory and order stock as approved by the Chief EngineerDesign and install various new work and remodeling projectsCoordinate various functions of outside vendors and contractorsCoordinate shutdown of the various heating, ventilation and A / C systems with all necessary staffWork according to codesConserve resources and materialWork within OSHA Safety Standards, and report any violations to supervisor.Identifies and reports basic safety issues or problems (ex. Spills) and takes action whenever appropriate.Identifies and reports errors / potential errors according to policy.Uses equipment as trained and according to organizational policy.Promotes the health and safety of all by following established infection control procedures (i.e., hand washing, use of personal protective equipment).Notify supervisor of any problems or delays in projects.Report defective materials, faulty operation of equipment and unusual matters to Supervisor and appropriate personnel.Assist in all other areas as neededSubject to being called in for emergenciesMaintain a professional appearance at all timesQualifications
High School DiplomaTrade SchoolFive years HVAC service and installation experienceLicensure / Board CertificationRefrigeration LicenseRefrigerant Usage CertificationComputer experience with Windows, Word, Excel, and databases a plus but not required.Familiarity with Honeywell XL 5000 controls a plusPhysical Requirements
Must be able to lift, pull, and pushing 50 (fifty) pounds.See attached Physical Requirement located in Occupational HealthRemote Type
Salary Range : $62,468.00 - $93,701.00
