Design Engineer – Propulsion & Chassis

Join a leading technology company in the Chassis, Propulsion, and Architectural Design Group. You will be responsible for the design and validation of parts within Rechargeable Energy Storage Systems (RESS) in advanced product development. This role involves working on plastic IC boards or Bus Bars and designing advanced parts for RESS components.

Responsibilities

• Design highly complex components and simple sub-systems.
• Provide technical design leadership for major sub-systems.
• Mentor and coach other designers.
• Ensure communication between sub-system groups.
• Verify the quality of design team output.
• Lead design reviews.
• Resolve technical design conflicts.
• Follow corporate standards and policies.
• Assess buildability, manufacturability, and integration with Lead Design Engineer and Design Managers.
• Advise first-line supervisors on project status, timing, resource availability, and capability.
• Assist in establishing design completion dates.

The pay range for this position is $28.50 Ì- $48.00 / hr.
